When losing or forgetting your belongings on a UK train or train station, you may need to contact multiple train operating companies (TOCs) to cover your full journey.
Some TOCs handle lost property found on their trains. Others hand all items in to the station where the train terminates. The rest do a bit of each.
TOCs using MissingX can benefit from the search features on missingx.com. You can type in the stations you travelled from and to, and our system will find matching lines and TOCs. When you register a lost item, the information will be sent to each one of the relevant TOCs.
We recommend you to visit the websites of the TOC you travelled with, to read about where your lost item may have ended up.
